Two Arrested for Vandalizing CLU Building

Two men were arrested early Friday morning for allegedly vandalizing the auditorium at California Lutheran University.

Campus security officials say the two men were found discharging fire extinguishers inside the building at around 1:20 a.m.

Ryan Chapman, 19, and Matthew Lindgren, 20, were arrested and charged with felony vandalism.

University spokeswoman Karin Grennan said the men are not CLU students.

Police are investigating whether this incident is linked to other recent instances of vandalism on the CLU campus.
